Remote train driving, LIVE, from 696 km away! 

Watch history in the making. On Thursday, we'll demonstrate a live remote train drive at Kijfhoek, the Netherlands, controlled in real time by a machinist sitting 696 km away, right here at InnoTrans in Berlin.

Joining us to unpack the technology behind this first-of-its-kind demonstration is Baseliyos Jacob, Technical Project Lead and Senior Engineer, who'll share his perspective on the project. This has never been shown before, and it's not one to miss.

Perception from assistance to autonomous tram operations!

Our co-founder & CTO, Niels Van Damme, will take a deep dive into our advanced driver assistance system: technology helping drivers avoid accidents and navigate complex urban environments with confidence.

We'll also welcome Nacho Celaya, head of autonomous at CAF, sharing first-hand experience of working with the system on the ground.

Shunting, up close! 

A guest speaker (to be confirmed and announced soon) will take you into the world of shunting: how these operations work day-to-day, and the risks that come with them. They'll share how their team uses our camera system in the field and more importantly, why.

At the end of the session, stop by our photo booth and take a picture with the system. Not exactly its day job, but a fun way to see the image quality for yourself!

Joining him is guest speaker Johan Clé from De Lijn, who'll share what it's really like using our ADAS system day-to-day on their trams.

A world first: Autonomous trams in Oslo

Join us at the CAF stand for a look at PER4ALIVE, the project bringing the world's first autonomous tram to Oslo. OTIV provides the perception system behind it, working alongside partners CAF and Sporveien. We start with depot automation before moving into full operations, as part of R2DATO, a European Union initiative.
