The OTIV team is thrilled to be heading to InnoTrans 2026, and we can't wait to connect with all of you there! We're bringing some exciting announcements, special moments to share, and a few surprises that you won't want to miss. Plus, we've organized multiple events that promise to be both engaging and memorable. Join us as we make this InnoTrans experience truly exceptional!
OTIV invites all rail undertakings, public transport operators, OEMs, and other rail suppliers to explore the potential of assistance, remote-control, and autonomous technology in rail. If you're changemakers as we are, pass by and say hello!

Driving a train in The Netherlands from InnoTrans (LIVE)
Watch history in the making. On Thursday, we'll demonstrate a live remote train drive at Kijfhoek, the Netherlands, controlled in real time by a machinist sitting hundreds of kilometers away, right here at InnoTrans in Berlin. This has never been shown before, and it's not one to miss.

Navigating in complex (urban) environments
Our co-founder & CTO, Niels Van Damme, will take a deep dive into our advanced driver assistance system: technology helping drivers avoid accidents and navigate complex urban environments with confidence.
We'll also welcome a guest speaker, a customer sharing first-hand experience of working with the system on the ground.

Shunting, up close!
A guest speaker (to be confirmed and announced soon) will take you into the world of shunting: how these operations work day-to-day, and the risks that come with them. They'll share how their team uses our camera system in the field and more importantly, why.
At the end of the session, stop by our photo booth and take a picture with the system. Not exactly its day job, but a fun way to see the image quality for yourself!

A world first: Autonomous trams in Oslo
Join us at the CAF stand for a look at PER4ALIVE, the project bringing the world's first autonomous tram to Oslo. OTIV provides the perception system behind it, working alongside partners CAF and Sporveien. We start with depot automation before moving into full operations, as part of R2DATO, a European Union initiative.

Belgian Beer Afternoon
Join us on the second evening of InnoTrans for an event featuring live demonstrations of our different products, insights into the challenges of driving rail vehicles in complex environments, combined with a Belgian beer.
Practicalities: OTIV Booth (Hall 7.1a Stand 500) on Wed, Sep 23, 5pm - 8pm.
Morning Breakfast
Belgian beers can be quite strong if you're not accustomed to them, and we don't want you missing the train as we keep things moving! So wake up early and join us on Thursday morning at our booth for a refreshing breakfast to start your day off right!
